To top up our four day filming project we would like to invite you and the Trailrunning community to come along for the final meters of our run for the glaciers and support the team on their approach to our goal Hintertux Glacier.

There we will gather to take a group picture of everyone and raise awareness for the current glacial melting.

We will have two options for you to join, one for the relaxed supporters with a shorter distance and one for the ambitious runners.

About the event

To raise awareness for our melting glaciers and the changes and challenges the alpine infrastructure is facing, our four athletes Adrian, Kilian, Kim and Simon are running a 200km stretch from Pasterze to Hintertux Glacier. This is the distance of melting of the top measured glaciers in the alps through the last 30 years. This is only a real small number in compared to over 4400 glaciers in the alps region alone. The project will be documented and be shown in the stores in autumn. Become part of the project and join for our community run on Sunday.

Short Distance:

9k 600hm // Pace medium/slow

2:30pm

Meet up in Hintertux

Long distance:

36k 2800hm // Pace medium/fast

9:00am

Meet up at Mayrhofen Bahnhof

Please choose your distance wisely and honest to yourself. Since the second community run is waiting for the first, we would like to make the timing as smooth as possible.

Please bring suitable Trailrunning Equipment for your distance.

Trailrunning Shoes, Vest with water and nutrition, Poles, emergency blanket, warm clothing for up top and after, rain jacket, sun protection.

In Hintertux we will provide some drinks and fruits by Patagonia and nutrition by Maurten, where everyone can recharge on the way up and down.

We are happy to organise and guide you for this event. However everyone is responsible for their own equipment and safety. We are running in alpine terrain and cannot guarantee for weather and personal fitness.

Simon Krammig

Trailrunner

Simon is a passionate trail runner and part of the Patagonia team from Innsbruck. He loves being in nature and exploring new paths, whether it's on the Pacific Crest Trail or high up on the peaks of the Nordkette. For him, trail running means becoming one with the environment and having as little impact on nature as possible. His life motto is: "Only those who question their limits can grow beyond them."

Kilian Echallier

Kilian is originally from France (Annecy) but has made Austria his home since 2017. He moved to Innsbruck to discover new places and cultures and to enjoy the lifestyle of living in
the mountains. For him, skiing is about meeting new people. Having more or less grown up in the mountains and spent his entire life exploring the French Alps as his backyard, you’ll
mostly find him in high alpine areas and on big lines. The steeper and gnarlier, the better. He loves the thrill and the challenge of reaching his lines. But since now 3 years he slowly
moved to endurance sport and get more and more time on the trails with his running shoes. When he’s not checking out new routes, you might find him enjoying a beer or two with his friends by the Inn River.
